When I started Desert Fox Golf, I wanted to create a company that made money. I wanted to be able to take my family on great vacations, pay for my daughters' college education, and maybe even replace my truck that is slowly falling apart. But, I also wanted the company to have a conscience. I firmly believe in conscientious capitalism, where you can make money, but also do good things for the world around you.
In October of 2018, my business partner and I introduced the world to the Phone Caddy. October is a memorable month for me and my family; it's a reminder of my mother’s battle with breast cancer. I remember getting a call from my parents, and hearing that my mother had been diagnosed with this terrible disease. It is a phone call that no son, daughter, mother, father, brother or sister should ever have to answer. My mother, being one of the toughest people I have ever met, took it head on, and she won her battle with breast cancer. Thankfully, she is now in remission and living a happy, fulfilling life. As I look at my wife and my two daughters, I can’t help but feel that it would be great to never have to answer a phone call like that again.
I asked my mother how we could help, and she asked us to find a way to support an organization focused on fighting the disease. We decided to create a special edition phone caddy to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. For every Phone Caddy Special Edition Pink Ribbon sold through our shop, we will donate $5 to breast cancer research. With your help, we can do our small part to help bring an end to this disease.
