Q: Are the magnets strong enough?

A: Yes. We have thoroughly tested both the magnets in the base and in the head. We have tortured this thing — going over curbs, potholes, and tree roots — and with our MagSafe phones and cases we have never had our phones fall off or the Maggy fall off the cart. We use ultra-strong N52 neodymium magnets to make sure your phone stays safe. However, we have found that not all supposedly “MagSafe” cases are built to the same quality. Some of the knock-off and cheaper cases use weaker magnets in the case, which can greatly affect the performance.

Q: What if my phone or case isn’t MagSafe compatible?

A: Maggy comes with a stick-on metal ring that you can attach to the back of your phone or case, which will allow it to work with Maggy. Simple and easy.

Q: What if I don’t trust the magnets?

A: We understand. We spent the last 8 years selling our original strap-based Phone Caddy because we were concerned that no matter how strong the magnets are, there is always a chance for the phone to come off.
